Parador de Málaga Golf is an 18 hole golf course par 72 just over 6100m. The course's origins date back to the 1920s and are linked to the British royal family, especially Princess Beatrice of Battenberg, who spent part of the year in the area and was a driving force behind its creation. In 1925, construction began on the original 9-hole course under the technical supervision of Harry Shapland Colt (builder of Wentworth).
In 2010and 2011 they had 2 European tour
Under the direction and design of renowned British architect Tom Simpson (creator of such famous courses as Turnberry, Muirfield and Ballybunion), it was expanded to 18 holes (6173 m, par 72). The course record is held by Málaga native Miguel Ángel Jiménez, set during the 1999 PGA Turespaña Masters.
Visitors are welcome every day.
